Why are they selling them equipment if they've been on their case for so long? Why aren't they sanctioning the owners if they're believed to be danger to US national security?

I'm not suggesting the US is wrong for taking this action. I'm questioning the reason why this company hasn't been sanctioned after continued disregard for US laws pertaining sale of their military equipment.

ANC is facing high youth unemployment rate. I don't think they'd encourage work until you die philosophy, something which could threaten their reelection in future.

There was an instruction from President Cyril Ramaphosa, and agreement between all parties concerned, that Iran was no longer going to participate in the navy exercises in Simon’s Town and False Bay, according to his spokesman Vicent Magwenya.

He says China was the host country, using our waters for this exercise, and Ramaphosa issued an instruction to remove Iran despite not being the host country. And if this wasn't enough, his military defied an order from the commander in chief. Angie then starts an enquiry as if she wasn't complicit, and defended the general who was forging ties in Iran a few months ago. Make it make sense.

With this kind of circus for a military, Rwanda can rock up and take over the country while Cyril and Angie decide whether they should defend or not...

Her defence was weak from the beginning. If this was agreed with all relevant parties (I'm assuming China was involved in the discussions), then this man defied lawful directive. We can't have military leaders as ill-disciplined. He must face the full might of whatever law is applicable to his case.
