This may be a silly question, but is this affecting both incoming and outgoing international mail? I was planning to send a package to the US when the fun started.

That's the whole irony. Temporary workers striking for permanent positions but they can't seem to do without them.If the strike is illegal the workers should all have been dismissed.
They cannot afford to make them permanent either. Perhaps you'd like the South African Post Office to close down all unprofitable locations. That's the whole irony. Temporary workers striking for permanent positions but they can't seem to do without them.
That would be a start. Run the place like a business. They cannot afford to make them permanent either. Perhaps you'd like the South African Post Office to close down all unprofitable locations.

What a pathetically useless institution.
All the private mail companies should form a massive conglomerate and create a parallel national postal service.
They might as well just state which Offices are open, the list would probably be shorter :erm:They updated it, there's more post offices closed now. Even Saxonwold in Rosebank mall is closed.

Do these morons even realise they are all about to lose their jobs?
The government will just bail them out like all the other times. The time will come though when the money has all been stolen.
Their money tree is on fire....
