I often critisise the fact that there isn't decent school football in SA, so I was plesently surprised when I found this on Supersport's website: SA Schools Shootout
It's a 12 team schools tournament which starts in Joburg tomorrow. I'm not sure exactly how the teams qualified, but there are teams from all 9 provinces. The age limit is set at 18, born in 1994, and the final is on 31 March. Supersport will televise 22 matches live.
