SA teacher's WTF classroom meltdown

My Natskei teacher threw a board duster at me for messing with batteries or magnets (hazy memory). Then he went into a rant and beat my ass.
 
A last comment on this, why are cell phones even allowed in class/school?
This must surely be a huge distraction even if they are supposed to be off?

Thats why my wife stopped teaching beginning of this year, couldnt handle the kids anymore.

Yeah, he was a legend. Loads of staff, students and parents gave him support following the incident. It still took its toll though. He was never quite the same.

Weak school, without the right school rules in place.
School my kid goes to doesn't allow cell phones in class. Each kid as allocated a cell locker. cell goes in there at start of school and is taken out at end of school.
If they get caught with cell on them, it get's confiscated ...
"Unless a teacher gives warning that he wants the learners to use a cell phone in class for educational purposes, no learner may use a cell phone during school time. This includes breaks. Learners who take a chance will face the consequences of losing their phone (and sim card) for three months."
 
School should also suspend kid with camera and confiscate it.

If this kid was black the minister or MEC is on the way. **** storm of note to follow then. poor creature's human rights was then abused.

i remember my std.1 teacher bashed some girls head against the chalkboard, grabbed her hair and smashed her head into the board a few times, the girl just laughed.

very bad!!, BUT, that girl was.... i dont know how to desribe her. "had a few issues"

i later learned that in her previous school she played with a dead cat as a pet and brushed its teeth with her toothbrush. this is the least strange thing she had done.

the teacher quit after that.

Don't even start that discussion. If you give your child a cellphone, they should be responsible about it.

We can't keep on thinking about learning the way it was years ago.

I know in high school it was easier for me to take a picture of my notes. Now it's even simpler because it can be converted into a text document.

Work smarter not harder.
