SA teacher's WTF classroom meltdown

I lost my coold just yesterday with a brat who decided that he is to good to be staying in for detention.

Ahhh, we went to the same school! I spoke to the said teacher afterwards who told me that he had received numerous messages of support from parents, ex scholars and the staff. A genuine legend and after reading another article like this, I tend to be on the teachers side.
 
Funny enough, just last week we were warned about learners filming teachers trying to tick them off and then recording them. We had two of these incidents in the past month.

You go and keep your ***** together while you have 30-40 16 year olds goading you while you try and do your job.

Was your friend's name Dave? He sounds like a Dave, Sammy what does the D stand for? Is it Dave? Is the friend in the story really you? Because you sound like a Dave.

You got to love how idiot parents creates these monsters and then cry when someone tells them exactly where to take that attitude and shove it.

Your job as a parent is to parent. Not allow kids with underdeveloped brains to rule you.

You do not have problem children you have problem parents.
 
...oddly, back in my day...incidents never escalated to this sort of outburst level. You would have been duster carpet bombed, back handed...or the classic, lift and run ...be picked up...and be slammed against the back wall of the class, way before a teacher reached the point of lasing out verbally. Ahh, the joys of Catholic discipline.

Agree, no matter...what sort of measure you deploy at school, whether at a brat infested private school, or a gangster laced public school...if you do not address the key issue of home environment/discipline, you just slapping a band aid on the issue.
 
I cant imagine how anyone would want to be a teacher , especially at a public school in south africa. Sad thing is this Sh$t probably deserved it and now the teacher will get punished.
 
Not enough money in the world to make me become a teacher today with all these ill-disciplined snotheads around. No punishments allowed, so what must the teachers do?
 
Well my old Principal just got fired for giving the WCED a piece of his mind. Dude has been fighting them for quite some time, despite being one of the better public schools around in Cape Town. South Peninsula High. Some of the students also apparently ran off to the WCED because of the way he does things, but it gets results.

Feel sorry for teachers, who are constantly being abused by students.
