Missed the game, saw the replays OH MY GOD.. 3 awesome goals..

Cant believe SA won 3-0

maybe the morons at SAFA will let Carlos do his job now and stop interfering :)

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant. Teko Modise is just awsome.

The guy makes the team play.

I feel so embarrassed right now, in a good way. I wrote them off just hours before the game and did not even bother to watch the game. Man did they prove me wrong. :o

I dont think they showed the game...
Atleast our South American coach can beat a South American team...

Although I'm more of a rugby man I obviously want Bafana Bafana to do well because since we're hosting the 2010 WCup, it would be great if we as the host nation could actually get past the first round. Unfortunately SA have been woeful these last few months so yes, I also wrote them off when I heard they were playing Paraguay. They're miles above us on the FIFA rankings. But I did watch the game and I was needless to say, pleasantly surprised! Not only were the goals really good but the allround performance was actually quite tight, if compared to previous outings. I just hope they continue to be consistent and build on that performance.

What a good crunch match !!

1st time I ever saw SA win tho ....

Where and when was it? I looked, but could not find :(

I stumbled onto it myself, SABC1. 20 mins into the first half, just in time to witness Arron Mokoena give Santa cruz a little nip on the ankle.:D

He was substituted a few minutes later, although i thought the tackle didn't look that bad.

What is Bafana Bafana? :D
I was pleasantly surprised "we" played like that. It was a nice game to watch. Our next victim should be England. :D

Great game
Para are a tough nut to crack,i remember playing them in the 02' world cup.2-2 draw.

Kudos to Bafana

I always thought there was a huge potential for Parreira's squad. I said this during the Afcon and no one wanted to believe me. They played well during the AFCON but made some very scostly blunders in defense plus they had nobody to finish their moves (McCarthy).
I'm most impressed by Bryce Moon, Thsepo Masilela, Teko Modise and Kagiso Digacoi. I think these young boys will be the backbone of the 2010 squad. Suprise Moriri is full of surprises but is not someone you can count on. He has his moments and yesterday played a blinder of a game. With the likes of Steven Pienaar, Elrio v heerden, Sibusiso Zuma not being selected for last night's match we can safely say that we now have depth in the team and we should do very well during the world cup. Never underestimate the power of home ground advantage

there were some awful mistakes by bafana trying be fancy in the midfield and not focussing on just retaining possession. whether they win or lose the most important part is scoring goals..they've struggled to score goals

Missed the game, anybody got a link to a video clip or highlights package pls?
