SA woman's execution - Zuma must help

what about the families that are badly affected by these drugs? their kids who were lured into being addicts & before the parents could do anything to save them, it was too late?

3kg sounds like nothing, but it has the potential to ruin alot of innocent lives

that is somebody's child.

and while i'd gladly support the genocide of the whole human race as that is the direction i'm leaning these days, and i'd gladly kill someone without any remorse who has hurt someone i love, i'd also want someone i love who has made a mistake to be protected.

**** Zuma in the ass

How many lives would she have ruined with 3kg of the stuff - if she knew what she had in her bag good riddens.................

this is the same government that takes dogs away for mass culling and kills so many people it invented it's own mobile death chamber. kudos to them wit htheir harsh stance on drugs, but they get extremely bad marks in regards to human rights and the standard of life.

drugs, like suicide, is a choice the individual makes. she made her choice, she is dead now. but people mustn't act like the chinese government is so amazing

probably less than the lives the government has ruined with their great big firewall and all the dogs they skin daily. but drugs are bad mkay?

This all of course applies as much to a country that might do something crazy like punish someone for blasphemy. It's their laws. We can't really tell China what to do here. Asians are a bit funny about this sort of thing.

I'm curious as to why she was smuggling methamphetamine. It's not normally a drug that needs to be smuggled because it is close to trivial to manufacture. It's basically completely impossible to stop production short of a total police state (and even that probably won't stop it completely).

Sounds way tooooo harsh.

Prison for min 25 years
Should be zero unless it is applied to all manufacturers and distributors of drug intended for non-medical use.

Occasionally I do, but it has absolutely nothing to do with someone mulling drugs illegally into another country and now being punished.
Always find this attitude from some druggies quite strange. Maybe they'll come for you someday. I'll just point and laugh.

I have no sympathy for drug dealers, mules or users alike.
I have no sympathy for people like you.

Is this an execution to punish this woman for her deeds or to send a message to others contemplating involvement with drugs ?

She's already been executed :(. The good thing, the only good thing, that can come out of this is people who plan on smuggling drugs into a foreign country will think twice before doing so. In fact, her execution will act as a deterrent for all would be drug offenders who are South African and who plan on doing their deed in a foreign country. She will, in a way, save lives of "potential" drug moles. That's my take......

people have been executed before her. people will be executed after her. the least china could do is spare one drug carrier from our country after all the rhino horns they've taken because of their limp-dicked superstitions. in all likely hood she didn't do this more than this one time and the drug dealers/manufactorers remain unscathed.

i may be a deterrent to some, but it won't stop.

I doubt it, all of the Banged Up Abroad shows I've watched have always had the 'victims' giving the narrative.

Lured in? Look if your child is a complete retard there's not much you can do for them. I know let's ban everything where someone might be stupid, overdo things or in some way hurt their poor little selves. We wouldn't want to do anything crazy like having people be adults and make their own choices. And then people complain about no-one knowing anything about taking responsibility. You want a world of adults then you can't be a nanny to everyone. And don't complain about a lack of freedom when the government controls everything you do because it is what you wanted.

The great thing is that the methamphetamine will continue to flow. 3kg is nothing. If they caught that much then at least 30kg more went undetected. In the case of methamphetamine probably even more than that. Bit silly to be carrying this stuff around in a country like China though. Best to leave the important job of maintaining a steady drug supply to professional criminals.

I'd smuggle drugs to Norway ?

worst case scenario is 21 years in a Norwegian prison.

All make sense now. Chinese do lots of meth, get limp dicks, slaughter rhinos to try to fix the problem.

Of course they do. Anyone who thinks this kind of thing impedes the drug trade needs to get their head checked. It's even conjectured that the people who control the trade deliberately sacrifice some of their mules as a diversion.

You'd have to pay your own flights & accommodation and possibly pay the drug dealer for letting you hold his stash. The real money is in smuggling into the likes of China, Thailand, South America (with their horrible prisons), etc

Executions do absolutely nothing to curb crime rates. It amuses me to no end when I see people calling for the death penalty to be reinstated under the belief that this will solve our crime situation, it won’t. If you don’t believe me, read up on the numerous studies confirming this on the net. People can be terribly judgemental, until one of their own loved ones are placed in these kinds of situations. Then their tune changes completely.

If you are dumb enough to smuggle drugs then you deserve to die. Think of all the live's those drugs helped destroy....
