Oh please. The budget will, as per usual practice, be siphoned off the medical equipment and infrastructure budgets, the budgets to upgrade the railways, the budgets to sort out our ports and the budgets to get our science and technology facilities back to where they should be.
If they close down SAA then you can all call me a naive fool- I really won't mind at all because I will be so happy.
Its already been promised, problem is and this is a new lesson for government, there really is no money.I suspect at the last minute they will be granted R20billion out of thin air and the ANC will look like the Messiah of bailouts yet again.
Unfortunately that may be as bad or worse than the black hole SAA.You mean restore the stolen current railways surely:

what ever happened to dudu? But it was flying daily while Dudu was at the helm
Bring back Dudu.
Bring back Dudu.
Bring back Dudu.
An African solution for an African problem.
what ever happened to dudu?
Would like to know what the BRPs are paid. At what point has the money REALLY run out where they cannot pay themselves? What a stupid saga and by the time any real decision is reached or forced upon SAA a significant amount of money would have been spent on the BRP and what salaries they are paying anyway. Sort of like Zondo Comm; much about lots of rotten ANC thieving but very expensive and zero positive result.
What it does show is how weak and indecisive Cyril is. Jamnadas says he's getting R10bn odd, Tito says he isn't and each do their own thing.
Government would be liable regardless.
As opposed to?
What would you replace it with? I am in two minds as I seem to require a bit of electricity at random times but maybe that's just my problem?Cool, liquidate Eskom next.
There are no railways to upgrade anymore. They've been radically transformed and decolonised. I don't see railway working again in this country.Oh please.
