Surely this will have ramifications on broadcasting as a whole and will filter through to other areas?
We might not like SABC but there are thousands and thousands of people who only have SABC. Despite the jubiliation this is not good for SA.

Why would anybody want to save it?
How does this affect 2010? Anyone have any info on that? Surely FIFA will not allow a country with no official broadcaster to host the tournament? Can they lean on Supersport entirely to facilitate all broadcasts of all matches?
