SABC profit plans quashed

The Independent Communications Authority of SA (Icasa) has rejected the SABC's bid to force pay television providers to cough up for the privilege of carrying the public broadcaster's channels.

I used to enjoy The AMazing Race, and apparently there is a new season airing on SABC at the moment. I had no idea this was the case because... I dont htink I have actually tuned into one of the SABC channels in a year or two.

F__K the SABC, nobody who can afford DSTV wants to watch their K@K anyways. My wife told me she paid our TV license the other day. I got really upset.....

a license is for being able to watch tv or to be able to receive a signal, and yes it's includes DSTV. and you need to pay DSTV for the right to use their system.so you already paying twice
