I use dyndns. It seems to be resolving the dynamic IP but no luck.
 
Thanks OP for this. I've got everything setup as good as can be, but SB having issues communicating with SAB. API's are set correctly. Did some googling and saw something about proxy settings which I did play around with, but to no avail. Will give it a bash tonight again.
 
Can this be done through Linux Mint natively?
Or, Should I run a VM?

If I have to go with a VM, which free VM software do you recommend?
 
Hi, I haven't changed anything but I am getting this weird error from xsusenet, nextgen, etc.

Yes it is free.xsusenet.com.

But I get this problem with all of my other news servers and I havev't touched the config at all.
 
Every once in a while xsusenet sends you an email that you need to reenable yr free account, have you done this?

That looks like a Sickbeard log (not SAB). Those urls are for News Servers not index sites which Sickbeard is expecting.

It looks like you entered the news servers into the wrong app, those should go into SAB.
 
But... this has been working fine all the time. :/
I didn't change a thing since it worked, I promise.:whistle:
 
Sickrage's newznab feed didn't work for me, kept saying it couldn't parse the feed from nzbgeeks. Sickbeard parses it fine. Pity, they've fixed the issue that constantly downloads the same broken file.

I am using the subtitle/artwork download functionality via XBMC - for the series we watch there is hardly the need for subtitles.

I guess this is the biggest problem with Sickrage - it is under constant development with changes being pushed daily. I normally run on the master-branch and only switch to the dev-trunk if there are fixes which have not rolled into master. There was a newznab issue I think over December which they fixed. I switched to Sickrage in August and found it working better than Sickbeard - but then again, I fiddle a lot and this might not be what others want to do
