Salt or Chlorine Pool???

If you add enough salt, you'll be able to swim without the water wings and a heavy salt content of the water will increase your bouyancy. :) A bonus effect which chlorine does not yield. :)

They did this on Mythbusters. It took an estimated 6 tons of salt to emulate the dead sea. :p

Thats a lot of salt.
Could you imagine swallowing that water? And you would probably die on the spot from your blood pressure increasing massively. :D

Thats ALLOT of salt!! Donno if you'll get your blood pressure to increase so quickly as you'd have to drink about a cupful(which you'd throw up almost instantly)

People swim in the Dead Sea for health reasons. I'll assure you that salt does not penetrate skin. Don't worry. The other nice thing is that as mentioned,
that you guys would be able to swim without water wings.

+1 for salt water.

They only thing I have against it is that it dries out your skin, or at least it feels like that. But then that can also be a positive thing: After you had a nice swim ask the misses to rub some cream on you back ;)

On your BACk???? LOL.

I never said it penetrates your skin, I said if you end up swallowing a mouthful of it...

It won't raise your blood pressure, to elevate your blood pressure
you'd need regular daily intake and not a once of mouthful of salt which would
probably make you throw up anyway. No risk of Blood pressure problems.
