Same-day delivery from Makro on Black Friday

Pretty envious. I bought 4 orders from 4 different stores on Black Friday including takealot and all was in stock.

All have not even shipped yet and ETA is end next week.

If this really pans out, I will be pleasantly surprised with Makro. I would not even touch their online ordering until I can see a lot more reviews confirming this.

Not as good but still very impressive, ordered a 27" monitor late Thursday night and delivered Saturday evening with the bosses car. The driver said his boss insisted the delivery go out Saturday and told the driver to take his car.

My experience isn't very pleasant so far. Ordered on sunday and it is still "In progress". No movement, whatsoever. Maybe the BF and cyber Monday backlog has caught up with them.

Ok, so I ordered something on Sunday, that was in stock. Wednesday I got a notification that it was packed (took 3 days to pack). Today I got notified that they handed it to the courier. Not very good logistics from my perspective, but maybe they were overwhelmed by the BF and cyber monday orders, so I won't bitch too much.
Also, why don't they give tracking numbers.

So I bought a laptop this past Sunday? It’s still on the 1st step. I heard all the complaints about Makro delivery but thought after reading this article they had improved.
MyBB how much did you get paid for this article? I could have just went to the store.
Ordered from takealot and Avo on BF and delivered within the time they specified

Bought something from a reputable company in EU on BF.

4 Days later DHL delivered the package.
Shipping was about R100.

They are shocking, I ordered on there BF specials, item arrived with parts missing, was written on the box in large letters that parts where missing and the box was destroyed, tape everywhere holding the box together, I refused to accept the item, eventually got hold of Makro after hours of being on hold and transferred back and forth, I was promised a call back, they did not say when as days have passed and I contact them daily and still no solution to date.
