Same-Sex Couple 'Blessed' With Surrogate Triplets

Twins and I presume therefore triplets are quite common when artificial insemination is used so this isn't really all that surprising.

Also one could argue WHY should it be news just because they are gay? Shouldn't they be as normal and therefore non-newsworthy as anyone else?

It's twins from one father and another one from the other father. So it's 2 different fathers.

Very nice story for a Monday!!!!

I believe as long as the kids are raised in a good loving home its all good.

3 kids at once...that's going to be a test. Hope the dads manage okay.

I'd be interested if the kids look noticeably different as they age (all babies looks the same to me :o)...that would be cool.

Why is this a story? A woman was impregnated and had triplets. Hardly news-breaking.

Is there something that makes it particularly rare for there to be triplets through surrogacy?

What does the sexual preference of the adopting couple have to do with it?

Yeah I agree about it not being newsworthy.

To be fair, when the kids grow up the parents will have quite a story to tell.

"Dads, how were we born?"
"Well kids, it all started when a legless Paralympian shot his girlfriend through the toilet door....."

Blessed? Lol like a child is so special. They keep popping up.

Well if you can't have any it becomes a very different story.

Only people who got pregnant first time without a struggle or accidentally have your mindset.

Everyone else was very luck to have them.

I do despise the word blessed though as it credits some kind of divine intervention which isn't the case.

The story is not news-worthy because it is gay people, it is news-worthy because one surrogate mother has been made pregnant by two men through surrogacy and therefore led to twins from one man and another child from the other man. I don't think you can tell us of an occasion where this happened before.

Interesting story.

The joke about Paddy looking for the other two guys when his wife had triplets is not that funny anymore though.

It wouldn't however be the first time a female has twins from separate fathers.
