Hi everyone,

Just a technical question that I'm hoping you guys can answer. So I'm thinking of buying the Samsung A8 tablet for my mom, it gets decentish reviews, but some reviews have mentioned that Netflix on the tablet only displays content in SD, not Full HD.

This is a problem. Now I don't know if this has been rectified via software or if it's still an issue because I don't want to get a tablet that displays content in a low resolution.

Do any of you guys own the A8 tablet and can you perhaps verify if Netflix streams content in Full HD as opposed to SD? We have the top of the range Netflix subscription (4K ultra).

It means the drm level is to low, my Nokia T20 is the same, honestly though on a 10" screen it doesn't make a massive difference

On my small galaxy S9 I can easily tell the difference between 480p YouTube and 1080p. Its night and day.

On a 10.8" display i would imagine the differences would be even more visible.
