Hi,
I purchased a 50" full hd samsung plasma in feb,
Got a installer out late march to connect the hd decoder and tv and was advised that there is a sound issue.
Called samsung and was told that no exchange on unit even if its brand new but they arrange for a samsung service centre to collect it.
Came back same story with the sound, so I purchased a surround sound.
Now after watching a while the pic starts to shake.

Any idea what's wrong with this since samsung service centres are not very trained...

The worst part is I purchased this to watch the world cup games.

Well, you can argue with Samsung that they already tried to fix the unit and failed, so this time they should do a swapout. Don't let them get away with stories.

Yes don't let them take u for a ride after u spent your hard earned cash on their inferior product.

OT: How is Sony's service compared to Samsung? I'm seeing more and more issues being reported about Samsung products and their pathetic service.

Get Samsung to send the service guy out again. He should be able to do on-site replacement of the electronics. If not, they must give you a replacement/substitute set for the duration of the repairs.

It should have the 3 year warranty on the set too. You can always threaten the consumer complaints ombudsman?
