Samsung Galaxy Note 2

If the phone is out before the beginning of November i will definitely get it. Otherwise my money goes to the S3.
 
I see Mtn have it from tomorrow 1 October according to the latest deals mag available on their site.
 
I wasn't going to get it. I really wasn't. I had a long stern talk with myself and convinced myself I could be happy with my S3 (also had S2 and Note 1) until at least next year.
But... the hype. It has corrupted me. I now have to get it. I simply have no choice :(

Getting the Note 2 after you had the first one is unavoidable. There is no way one can go back once you tasted this slab. Nothing I ever had can compete with this beast. You knew that all along didn't you Mike? Just like with that iPad 3 sin you have to confess and repent again. :D

Whooo Hooo!! But i kinda want to wait for CellC to release any deals if they are going to.

I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do, REALLY want this phone and I want it Yesterday:wtf:

My VC contract is upgradable but I want to cancel it in December and port to Cell C BUT they don't have 3G coverage here yet...according to the local Cell C store the 'best speeds' will definately be launched by December but no set date yet, still in testing fase or something...

I am definitely cancelling my current contract. But the contracts available on Vodacom seems to only be data contracts. I am just curious if calls can still be made and received from those contracts.

I believe they are strictly data contracts only, no calls, thus useless unless you are using your Note as a tab only:confused:

Decided I'm cancelling my VC contract as soon as they can give me a cost after this billing run...then it's just a matter of going Cell C contract or prepaid (if FNB gets the Note 2 soon)....

Happy to stick with Edge until the coverage issue is sorted

Yeah, will probably sell my ipad and use the proceeds to pay for my note 2 on prepaid.
 
If this is Data only and no calls if will be a major fail from Vodacom's side.

It is still a phone first, no matter how big the thing is. I see MTN has just released it's contract pricing. Not cheap, but i hope this is not Vodacoms only answer, otherwise i might as well go to the yellow place.
 
Guys, there will be voice contracts. It is a phone first and Vodacom knows that.
 
Vodacom's site now showing it is available from the 2nd at Vodaworld, which is today...

Just phoned them and they had no clue what i was on about... Anyone close there going, know more?

I am having the same issue with MTN - they said it was being released on 1 October and is on the fromt page of their new specials brochure, however not a single supplier in the country has 1.
 
I went to Vodaworld, they are guessing next week maybe sometime.

So ignore websites, even if it is the main website, apparently it means nothing and dates are just guesstimates it seems.

Wonder if they will blame the truck strike for this... but anyway, well done suppliers! Awesome
