Ugh, bastard, I signed up for the Note 2 contract with MTN on a talk 200 anyway, so hopefully everything will be fine when it arrives at the store.

We have the white one in stock @ the warehouse. Stores that order them should receive it within 1 - days or ordering it depending on geo location of the store. The grey one we are expecting sometime this week so stock should be dispatched next week.

Awesome - I have emailed about 10 different stores all who said they would let me know when they have them in :)

Got my Note 2 from Vodacom in Tygervalley in Cape Town today. Set up already. What an amazing device. Samsung did a great job with JB. The new "hover" pen works way better than the old one. No way anyone can convince me there is a better device than this. No way.

So excited to get mine in November. I think this is quite literally the best smartphone available at the moment. Even beter than S3

It is for sure. Its a blown up S3 with faster CPU and extra features. And an S-Pen. And more RAM (our S3).

When one compare the sizes (Note 1 and 2) the 2 is a tiny bit narrower ... but when you hold it in your hand it feels much narrower and easier to handle. The beast has turner into a beautiful ... beast. :) It is much closer in design to the S3 than the 1 was to the S2. With all that power and RAM running buttered JB ... it is in a league of its own ... way ahead of the pack. Those that found the Note 1 too big will find the 2 to be "smaller" and easier to handle. This is for sure the device to get/have. Android's Play Store has for all practical purpouses caught up with Apple's App Store. Everything is there these days. I was contwmplati g waiting for WP8 but the Note 2 is just too well spec'd, priced and mature to skip.
