Samsung Galaxy Note 2

The only problem with it is I cannot find how to block SMS numbers like I can in the stock app

Anyone planning on flashing an Android 4.4 AOSP ROM once they become available? (The folks over on the XDA forum reckon that either CM or Omni should have one available by next week)

Seems to me like the closet I can get to Stock Battery Life would be using The latest SlimBean Weekly + Plasma Kernel/Neak Kernel , although Devil Kernel gives even better results its a wee bit unstable for my liking.

Hi, should the device be rooted before SlimBean can be installed? I have the LTE version but is very scared of flashing roms.

Yes you must be. Rooting is the oy you could have a custom recovery (ie CWM), from where you can install your ROM. Do a LOT of reading on rooting and flashing on the XDA developers forum, especially for this device. It is easy to root and flash, but I only suggest you do a lot of reading to grow in confidence. Also, watch Youtube videos. You'll find xda threads just for your device (model no N7105 I think?).

Nowadays, it is very hard to hard brick (completely stuff up) your phone, so don't stress too much either.

Perhaps on the slimbean ROM there will be a step by step tutorial on how to root and install that ROM on its XDA thread for your device...

Hi guys and girls. Can someone help. I'm a noob flasher, so bear with me. When I flash a rom a new folder named 0 is created in my root folder every time I flash. It also happens when I restore a nandroid. I asked Mike and he says he thinks it is a bad recovery. So I flashed stock rom with Odin and tried it again but it still happens. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hello people.

A few months ago I dropped my phone and cracked the glass. Today I had the glass replaced by some informal cell repair shop.

Now the screen colors are weird. It's like the LCD can't produce the proper colors anymore. The darks aren't dark enough and the colours aren't bright enough.

They only replaced the glass, not the LCD or digitizer at all. They asked me R700 for the glass only.

Can someone please offer me some advice
