Not enough changes/improvements in V12 that makes it worth upgrading. I'll probably stick with V11 until Sammy 4.2 is released.

Since I can control myself and won't go OOB on the cell contract data, that question is pointless.
The question put simply is, at around R50 per month more, is an LTE Note 2 general retail value R1200 higher than a non-LTE version. Since I don't know, I'll ask. If that makes you feel like laughing, well okay then.
And regarding 'Vodascum', well...... To each their own but I've never had issues with them regarding service delivery, phone availability, billing, queries etc. From my experience with Cell C so far, it seems you get what you pay for.
Well, I got my 'normal' Note 2 from Vodacom. Fantastic service from Calvin at the Vodacom shop at Voda(com)World; in and out with new sim in I think 15min, which is quicker than Cell C took to even come talk to me. But enough about Cell C.
Enjoying the device so far, but ran it dead and now charging to full - Been 3 1/2 hours and still not fully charged. I'm working nightshift so really want to play with the bloody thing hahaha!
Coming from a Desire HD, I cannot believe that 1 hour of playing on the Note 2 has made that phone feel so small!!!
Enjoy! You're going to love it. I think that last observation has probably held true for all new Note owners. It's always better on the big screen!![]()
I just found the phone far too big had it for 2 weeks (like holding a plate against your ear) also couldn't get used to android & at the risk in getting shot down in flames I tunes apps are so much better than android IMO - just couldn't handle it so swopped it with someone for an Iphone 5 - happy bunny again![]()

I am sorry for your loss.

Indeed, the vodacom shop (first on your left) at Vodaworld Midrand had white and silver in both std and LTE versions. I'd be kicking up a fuss right now if I were you.
Regarding size of phone; I got used to it almost immediately and another unexpected joy is that voicecalls seem to be clearer on the Note 2 than my old HTC too. Far prefer the HTC keyboard though, but I'll get used to the new one, it's worth the effort.
Or buy SwiftKey on sale, best there is
I prefer anysoftkeyboard. It's free too.
