Samsung Galaxy Note 20

Are You Using Power Saving Mode/Adaptive Power Saving Mode.

Also Using A 120ghz Refresh Rate Or 60ghz ?

Issue is I'm finding my battery life to be very poor as of recently.
Not using any power saving and I am a power user. I have my BT connected to my watch all day and receive a ton of messages/emails on my phone
 
Samsung may have killed the Galaxy Note lineup permanently

Earlier this year Samsung said it is skipping a Note generation but will introduce new smartphones from the family next year. However, the latest report coming straight from South Korea suggests otherwise.

It appears that Samsung has completely removed the Note series from its product planning for 2022 and the main reason behind this is the foldables. And it makes sense when you look at the stats. The Galaxy Note10 and Note20 lineups got about 12.7 and 9.7 million orders in 2019 and 2020, respectively while the Galaxy Z Fold targets alone go up to 13 million.

So if Samsung is seeing an uptrend in foldable phone orders and decreasing Note sales, it's only logical to replace the Note with Flip and Fold.

Additionally, the report says Samsung is stopping the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra production in 2022, but that's to be expected given that those two models have been released more than a year ago.

 
Anyone know why the unlocked note 20 ultra isn't receiving any software updates in SA? I'm still on the august update. All the Samsung firmware websites show that the unlocked phones in other countries are receiving their regular updates, but it's not happening in SA.

i have also noticed this "issue" .
No updates.?
It's going on,+- 5 months now and no security patch updates.????
Yet, in other Regions, the Note series ,is getting regular updates !

Even my, Samsung Tab S6Lite , is getting regular updates .
but no Note series updates.?
I was going to lay the blame with my service provider, Vodacom ?
however ,Samsung South Africa is responsible for ensuring ,that service providers pass on the updates of handsets, to their handset users.

In the past ,i have queried "this issue" with Samsung S A and my service provider Vodacom.
Samsung SA explained to me, that when they receive the relevant Firmware updates ,they pass it on to service
providers to test .
After testing the relevant Firmware update, the service provider , passes it back to Samsung SA ,for approval
and for firmware to go "live" .

In my query , SAMSUNG SA and Vodacom blamed each other, for delay ,saying the firmware is with "the other party"
So i got nowhere with my query ...!!!!
All i can think, is that their attitude must be ...so what the...."official Note series" is discontinued !
Why bother .?

I have the Note 20 Ultra and my SO has the Note 20, both are on Aug security patch with no updates

Ridiculous that Samsung SA don't support their own flagship phones properly. One UI 4 is being rolled out in other places and we can't even get the latest security updates.
 
Got me a Note 20 Ultra after my 4 year old S8 started giving me issues, what an awesome device.

On the topic of the update I've sent Samsung SA a tweet to ask them about the update. Please retweet or do the same, maybe we can get some feedback...

Still on Android 11....but "NO" ... Android 12 and UI 4 update ...???
All other regions getting Android 12 updates and we get an Android 11 update .....pathetic Samsung SA and service providers..!

We wait +- 5 months for an update ,then you decide to push out an Android 11 ,December security patch update ?
While the rest of the World ( Regions ) is getting Android 12 updates,
this is the best you can do for an flagship device ????

My Snapdragon (Korean version) note was updated to android 12 end of December.

Why don't you sideload the updates via Odin?
