Do you know the name of the management person that you spoke to?
Yes ,i have their names and Portfolio ,
I always note down,whom i speak to .
(Its an old habit om mine .)
Learnt from past mistakes ,that if you don't record /note down ,
whom you spoke to, it can be embarrassing .
good luck

I would prefer not, to share their names on a public forum ( like this one.)
However i can say they in the Mobile /Handset
Division.
I can also say they in Senior Management,
I found their attitude towards my complaint
very positive.

So if it give these incompetent "employees" who
is responsible for the relevant "non" security patch updates a" wake up call"
it will be a good thing.

Overall my attitude is.
I can accept if a security patch is a bit "late"
I cannot accept if you pay megabucks
for a high end device....
with certain "Manufacturers /OEM undertakings" attached.
eg... monthly security patch for 4/5 years.

Then in return, you get sloppy services?
4/5 months of no security patch.?
Irregular Firmware updates.?
Your device is put at risk
Banking apps, Password manager with all my passwords, Samsung Pay etc. etc.
Also taking into account, the amount of scam emails and scam sms.. etc with request"Please click on link "

Otherwise i will contact Consumers Commissions

How do we get hold of this person so that we can all voice our concerns? It's unlikely they'll do much if only one person complains. You can pm me the details if you're not comfortable posting on here

i've noted your request .
Thanks for your support .
I appreciate you standing up that your voice ,be heard .!
I've linked my complaint ,to this thread and requested "them" to read ,he forum members concerns .
Personally,i think ,from experience with Samsung and Vodacom (in the past ,on numerous occasions )
matter/issue will be quitely resolved (?) and i will be given a "whitewash"excuse .???

Bottom line,
is that the "incompetent employees " concern gets a wake up call .
Good luck

Please note ....
I send you a PM ,check your messages .!

I agree. Hopefully they'll actually give us monthly updates now. Otherwise I think we should definitely get someone from mybroadband involved to do a story about it.

Funny thing is I got the update yesterday on my Note 20 Ultra but the Note 20 5G did not get it.

Decided to post here to ask mybb to look into why Samsung aren't providing monthly updates and aren't being clear to consumers about it.
