The latest version of Samsung’s large-screened Galaxy Note smartphone has been announced

For the first time with a Galaxy announcement, I am not interested in an upgrade.
I did say something similar though with the announcement of the S4 and I was in the queue on the first day they were available. Feels different this time though.

i'm super keen on getting this one. if we're in the list of 140 countries to get it on the 25th, then i'm gonna do my best to get mine on the 25th... assuming cellc get it on the 25th. also, i'm in durban and there seems to be a thing where durban is excluded from everything.

The Note 3 looks good on paper but I'm really happy with my Note 2.
It's plenty fast, the screen resolution is more than enough for my needs and the battery life is great.

What Samsung could do for me is release phones/phablets with different battery packs as factory options.
A slightly thicker 6000mAh phablet that runs for three to four days without needing to purchase ugly after market battery packs would be awesome.

shaped like the Note 1, performance wise it wipes the floor with the Note 2Hate that fake 'stitch" at the back though...wouldn't mind getting it maybe 10 months down the line though content with my Note 2 for now.

Just waiting for MTN to get this. Upgrade due since 1st of August. Last night reveal was my decision maker. I'm glad I didn't get the S4 last month. Definitely worth the wait.

Yeah, I like the stitching as well. Definitely looks better than the glossy plastic of the Note 2.
