I was hoping that I could get the screen mirroring right now with my LG TV.

Bloomberg+ is now a system app it seems. The only way to remove system apps and some other apps is by rooting the phone.

I'm going to flash and make a clean start. So I guess I follow the steps to flash and then I perform Wipe data/Factory Reset and Wipe Cache Partition.

Yes that would be the right way to do it, although I were lazy and did a "dirty" flash.
Edit:
I would also recommend doing a factory reset before you flash.

KitKat running smooth. Now just to see what the differences are. Maybe I have to disable Nova Launcher first to see if there are any.

There aren't any noticible differences except for the lockscreen. The biggest difference for me however was how much smoother the OS feels, oh yes and 400mb more Ram.
I see that you can load some of your accounts in Flipboard. FB,G+, LinkedIn, etc.

I would prefer an app that does exactly this, integrating all of your social stuff, but Flipboard is a bit too bulky for this, especially for FB where you have 2 status updates per page. So yeah...constant flicking to the next page if you really want to read everyones' post.

Mine is worse lol, went down from 35xxx to 31xxx. But I don't care much for Benchmark scores. I just use them to amuse myself.

Mine was 35*** when I first got it. Went down to 29*** over time. Now it's back to normal again.
