Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Between 2000 & 3000.. I sold my Note3 for 3k a month ago..

I paid R2.5k for one earlier in the year. Mint condition, with a screen protector and a 64GB sd card plus two or three covers. Only thing missing were the spare nibs for the s-pen.

My action memo's are stuck. Can't open a current one or create a new one. Must say I have only used the yellow ones but recently started using different colours for different things.

Anybody who had similar problems and how to go ahead to fix it? My phone is stock standard.

Is there no advice for this problem?

I was thinking perhaps I must go to Samsung and ask them to reload the software as it has to go in for a new front face anyway.

I hate to state the obvious, but have you

• switched it off and on
• removed the battery
• force stopped the app
• uninstalled the app and reinstalled

in that order

I switched off and on a few times and also did a battery pull. I did not un install the app and reloaded it.

Thanks for the advice. I will try this also and give feedback tomorrow. Just want to save the notes first.

The software is not totally happy however in general. Screenshots take forever to save, constantly says system UI has stopped.

Action memo is a system app, you can't uninstall it.

The only use I see for action memo is if you use it with an s-view cover. I prefer google keep (or even colornote, but the syncing is really rubbish). You can use samsung's handwriting keyboard (or myscript) if you want to use the s-pen.

I took screenshots this morning and then deleted all the memos. As said I could not uninstall it but I forced stopped it and also removed it from my screen.

I then re installed it from apps and for now it is working.

I will check out the other apps mentioned but I must say I like the action memos and use it both at work and at home.
