I also got the update yesterday morning. And i have found few issues ..
App is taking more time to open such as Good.
Screen automatically gets minimized/Small window while typing with samsung keyboard.
And top of it...nothing special this time :'(

Try force closing apps that is opened which should speed up your phone, and check phone memory.
Turn off the small window mode for One Handed operation in settings.

Should already have gotten it, as Telkom Mobile sells the unbranded XFA version.

I updated my Vodacom N9005 to KitKat a few weeks back. Ever since the update, my Note 3 does not put the display to sleep.
In settings, it is set to put the display to sleep after 1 minute of no activity. It ignores this and I have to push the power button to get the display to black out. This is severely eating into my battery life.
Anyone else have this issue with KitKat ?

If it's not working correctly, take it to the Samsung Service Centre.

I discovered (totally by accident) that if you move your fingers slowly over the three black dots at the top of the phone the phone shows the time, day, date, notifications, missed calls, messages and battery life left.

Those are the sensors yes.
Anyone else having a GPS issue. In the last few days the phone is constantly searching for GPS signal and not finding it. I manually turn the GPS off but still keeps searching.
Even G maps can't find GPS signal until I reboot. Has my GPS module taken dive? Anyone else?

Are you running an official Samsung ROM and if so, which version?
Yeah I'm running UK official kitkat. And have been for a while without any issues until 2 days ago.
I'm going to try and get MTN kitkat tomorrow and flash that, hopefully sorts it's out, or reflash BTU version. Hopefully that helps

It can't hurt.
Flash it, leave all default settings as is & see if you can get a quick GPS fix.
