As mentioned I completed all 7 steps and still nothing.

Yeah was also thinking to just use Google Drive.

Was that done from your phone? Also did you do it on initial startup or only later on after you had setup your device?
i logged in on my phone i think. Just linked the username and password. Then I went on my pc and I had a notification by that bell symbol.
I did mine muuuuuch later after i set up my device.
Ahhh OK cool.
Anyway am just gonna give up on it - logged in on my PC now but had no notifications by the bell. Also mailed Dropbox support two days ago and haven't got any response. Atleast I tried.
Thats very weird. I was only able to purchase with the R100 voucher after I added a credit card and then bought Asphalt for R10 and if I look at my account under "Gift Cards", it says I have R90 balance and that it expires 31 Dec 2013.
Ok I will try that but...I received a notification saying that the voucher cannot be used in google play, and once you buy something with the voucher then its basically used up.
Voucher cloud does not work in SA, yet they say it does...
Yeah was also told the Voucher could only be used in Samsung Store and not the Google Play Store (but I would have guessed that anyway). Will look for something else to buy and test it out.
just waiting now for the Sim to kick in. Really really happy with it so far see there is 25 usable gigs more than enough for me

Yes you can use the Balance.
But you have to add your credit card details in order to use the voucher!
I added my CC details and bought Shazam Encore and Monopoly on two different transactions and still have like R60 remaining on my free voucher...

I also tried to test it with asphalt, but i got an error saying the game is not supported on my device :-(
You can also give MEGA a try. 50GB free storage, but they do not currently enforce any limit. So basically, for the time being, we all have unlimited cloud storage with MEGA. They also have a pretty decent Android app.

Thanks for this info. I signed up at Box sometime ago they also gave 50GB free storage, not sure if they still do it though.
Then you also get Copy, they give you 25GB free storage.
Both have nice Android apps.
I was also lucky enough to get that 50GB from Box, but I have not really used it in the end. I only really use Dropbox at the moment as I have 73GB there and many shared files.
Three positives about MEGA:
- It's arguably the most secure option out there. Everything is encrypted and only the user holds the key to decrypt the data. No government/NSA snooping possible.
- The Android app also supports automatic photo upload, just like Dropbox.
- Transfers are supposed to be about twice as fast as Dropbox because of some technical gymnastics they are doing in the background.
Kim Dotcom recently talked about all this in a Hangout with Trey Ratcliff and others.
Anyway, this is the Note 3 thread, so I better stop my off-topic drivel.

Ok, people screen protectors for the Note 3 can be found at www.above-beyond.co.za.
They keep a South African brand called Smaak. Nice...and cheap!
Contact them directly and you can probably go and collect from them in Kempton Park.

Just be very careful as the details states 94 North Rand road, very very dodgy place in Kempton Park and might be a scam.
