Samsung Galaxy Note 3

As I have mentioned before! Samsung Smart Switch!

I had about 75 notes on my iPhone 4S. After backing up my iPhone via iTunes, the Smart Switch app automatically picked up the backup and my Note 3

I then clicked everything I wanted to transfer and a couple seconds later all was done!

Can't ask for anything simpler than that...

I used Smart Switch and was able to copy everything over EXCEPT for my notes - I can see notes in the list but won't let me select them. Have tried countless times but no luck at all.

AFAIK you can sync your notes from your iDevice to your Google account -doubt you will be able to import them into S Note however

Well maybe check your iTunes backup. Maybe you never backed up your notes...
It will work, just try other options like a different pc etc.

Yeah I can see my notes in GMail that was synced from my iPhone 5 - my question is how do I get this imported into some type of Note app on my Note 3? I created an Evernote account thinking maybe can import from GMail but no luck yet so if anyone can point me in the right direction maybe?

Also on the Notes app on my Mac, I have added my GMail account and can see all Notes I have taken - can I not maybe export them from there? I think the notes I took on my iPhone were automatically synced to Google as when I log into iCloud and view Notes there are only 3 notes there from years ago.

The notes definitely backed up. I am wondering if it has something to do with the Notes being sent to GMail?

Try this page perhaps, seems fairly simple enough

You need a premium Evernote account but I think that comes free with the Note 3?

anyone gotten the galaxy gear yet. and opinions

considering getting one this week
Got one yesterday. It is light and it looks good, the camera makes you feel a little like James Bond and the calling aspect means you wont need a bluetooth headset for calls. Calls come through clear and the person on the other side hears you well. Weather widget tied directly to your phone, only works if it is allowed to use your current location (Personally dislike this). Comes with a built in pedometer which can be of some benefit.
Screen is bright and clear, truly is beautiful despite the size. Also works well with S Voice and sms, emails etc.
Limited apps at the moment and you need to download a 20MB app called Gear Manager onto your Note to play with the settings.
Remember that support for more Samsung phones will be added soon.

Ok so how many of you are going to use the Stylus or would you just have preferred a BIG S4? :-)

I'm so confused now, Note 3 or 10'1" TAB *sigh*
I also thought the stylus would not be such a big thing but the more you use this phone, the more handy the stylus becomes. At this screen size, unless you specifically require a 10.1 inch screen, the Note 3 should do just fine. You don't have to use the stylus either. Then again, get what you feel is best for you. If the 10.1 appeals more, get that.

There are two options for the phone, the N9000 and N9005.
The N9000 is the Octa-core Exynos chip from Samsung and DOES NOT support LTE
The N9005 is the Snapdragon 800 processor and supports LTE

i have the N9005. Dont know which settings i changed but i popped an 8ta sim into it and the option is gone.

LTE has to be enabled by service provider
eg ..vodacom on voda network !
.. thus 8ta on their network ??? if not you will not see it .
