Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Yeah I'm also not going to get a screen cover, I enjoy my screen like it is now!

Although on Friday night it fell on to the tiles, flat on the screen! I was convinced that the screen was shattered, everyone around me "ooh" and "aah", "there goes your TV"
But then when I picked it up, not even a scratch!

Truelly surprised and happy with this amazing phone

Had a similar incident on a brick pavement. Phone fell flat on it's screen, everyone convinced that the screen is gone, but screen was untouched, just some marks on the silver frame. And the best part? I didn't even care if the screen was damaged or not :D.

Yeah same here. I was like ADH hero I come...

Mine doesn't have any scratches anywhere from the fall. Tiles were obviously clean :D
 
Just for interest sake to the guys considering to get the Note 3 at FNB.
The call centre, and most of us here, believes the model they have is the N9000.
I went to the dotFnb in Nicolway last week, and the model they had on display was in fact the N9005. The guy in the store assured me that is the model that they stock everywhere.

Dont go on the display model
TM also has that model on display and they have the N9000 unit only

Have a look at all the display S4's - i9505x iirc
and cellc only stocks the i9500 version

So i think the all demos will be the same regardless of which variant the store is selling

Also dont ever trust what a rep in a Store that's trying to sell you a R8000+ phone says about it...

Ask to see the box of a handset and at the back check which processor it has.
 
Strange thing happened to me earlier, my phone on 72% charge turned itself off and then the power button would not reboot it. Had to take the battery out and then power it on. All fine now. Any ideas what this could be?
 
Anyone keen to get rid of their galaxy gear smartwatch, please let me know :)

BTW how is it?
 
Man o Man. Got my upgrade approved and looking to get the Note 3 and Gear bundle, but looks like this village I am living in will never get stock!!! Ordered it 2 weeks ago and still nothing

Strange indeed, was your phone idle, or were you busy running some apps at the time?

I've had my S2 switch freeze with screen off from time to time, but always managed to reboot it after holding in the power button for about 10 seconds. :confused:

I just called their upgrade number, and they couriered it to me (phone only, not the phone+gear bundle). Maybe give upgrade department a call?
