My 2cents, i ordered the one off bidorbuy for R200 and only after paying did the seller mention it was a 'genuine copy' and then had to go throught the process of being refunded. As if the 'genuine' in copy made me feel any better:) then ordered via spigen website, definitely an expensive process but considering i ordered on sunday evening 3/11 and its out for delivery today im still pretty happy. And still cheaper than S-View cover which i never was really that impressed with.

It's very sad really, I wonder how many people actually bought a fake Spigen case from BidorBuy thinking it's genuine?

I always do my homework before ordering something, so when my case arrived in the mail yesterday I knew what the original Spigen packaging looks like, and to expect a certificate of authenticity inside the box.

Some people have also reported that they bought Fake Spigen cases from Amazon, it's just best to do proper homework when not buying from the supplier.

Yup, definitely agree. Was pretty irked that the seller on bob makes out that its a 100% legit case until after payment. And then the refund was a bit of a mission as well, suppose at least i got it. Oh and my buyer rating was prompty changed from positive to negative.

@Dom1n8tr1x - awesome cover by the way!

Nice!!!
I just came across a website (mobilefun) that sells spigen accessories for quite cheap...
R270 for Spigen neo hybrid...

Thanks for this! I am checking out the Incipio Watson Wallet Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Black. Seriously considering buying one because it has 3 credit card slots. It means I don't need a wallet and can keep my drivers/bank card/med-aid card on my phone in one pocket and my car keys in the other. Less bulk = great!

Did your order attract any customs charges

I didn't know that. Thanks! So that total price includes delivery charges or just the cost of the product itself? Looking to order from Amazon before the exchange rate gets any worse.

The total charges for my cover including the cheapest shipping was $19.97/R203.00 ($13.99 for the cover and $5.98 for the shipping). It was shipped on 30 October and arrived yesterday.

Was this a postal delivery or a courier company. $5.98 for international courier shipping is awfully cheap...
Did it include shipping insurance?

It was postal delivery by USPS but the package was delivered to my home instead of collecting it at the post office counter. It didn't include any shipping insurance.

I ordered 4x fake Spigen cases from AliExpress for under R200 in total. I don't mind buying the "replica" as long as I am aware of it. They ship for free, but it has been two weeks already. It will probably come with the next container of refugees from China :)
I'm using a China mall flip case and it is quite annoying - it keeps on activating the S-voice (double pressing the Home key in standby mode). I know I can disable it, but I'm so used to it coming from my S3 - I'm looking forward to not having the flippen flip on my cover.

I'm currently using the Bodyglove flip cover and also noticed the same problem with the home button being pressed if the phone is not first manually locked before being slipped into a pocket. Very annoying, which is why I have ordered the S-view cover. I know many here are against it and yes the price is exorbitant, but I have the S-View on my S4 and it offers a better user experience.
Also love the fact that it slims down the thickness of the phone compared to many non-OEM covers.
My Bodyglove is leaving streaks on the screen from the 3 ridges on the flap and the additional bulk is another reason forcing me to go the S-View route.

I have the (Bodyglove) anti-glare screen protector, but I just feel that it is taking a lot away from the vibrancy of the screen, when compared to my S4 which has a clear screen guard, but each to his own. The matt guard does not show off fingerprints as much as the clear guard but I will be changing to a clear guard on the Note3.

But let's see how the S-View performs...

I think the ones I bought from amazon are also fake
will report back on quality
its ok, I will get the real slim armor view when its released

Does anyone here know how to access the sensors on the Note3? As I understand it's got a thermometer, barometer etc. Is there any way the user can access the data - for example to read the actual temperature or pressure and not rely on the weather app.
