yup, sadly so! manufacturers invest heavily in ways to reduce the form factor and then to protect them we stick bulky covers on. also prefer the ultra fit, but ive already 'dinged' my shiny silver bezel so best keep it wrapped up. LOL .

Spigen seems to have made a mistake though. They sent me 2 neo hybrid cases + Crystal Screen protectors. I dont recall paying for 2. I will have to check mh bank statement. But anyway to cut a long story short, if there is anyone on Cape Town who would like to purchase these let me know. I'll upload some pics later on. They cost $38.20 and came with slow mail so I'm willing to sell for R400. Spigen packaging still sealed and relevant certificate of authenticity inside.

Are both Satin Silver? Wanted a red spigen cover but anyway, where in CPT are you?
 
Hi, anybody mind taking a pic of the inner back part of the s view cover. I am not sure if the one i got is a real or a fake one
 
Turns out im not enjoying having the neo hybrid cover on, much prefer the phone without any covers. Going to have to take a chance and use ADH when required. so if anybody is keen on a white spigen neo hybrid, as new in original packaging, used for two days, ill let it go for R400.

I must be honest out of the S3, S4 and now my N3. . . the N3 is by far the most comfortable in the hand and it doesn't feel like I am going to drop it. Whereas my S3 & S4 always felt slippery in the hand.

This is true, my current S4 does feel a little fragile in the hand, like it's a bit too light and might just fall out my hand... Therefore I ordered my N3 from FNB, I just hope they get stock soon as I can't wait for it to come....
 
I used my old phone the other day using the note 3 now. Can't belive how quick I got used to a bigger phone still love my old s2 that I have away bit it feels so tiny didn't believe it was my old phone and the screen resolution seems bad compared to the s2. Always thought it couldn't get any better. Loving the note 3
 
So I went to the local china mall to see what covers they have for the note 3
Found a bunch of "S-view" covers that didnt work and a few silicone/tpu covers

I always preferred not having a cover, this phone feels awesome without one anyways
even though I have ordered a spigen will decide then if I can handle the extra bulk when it arrives.

I did walk out with an MHL cable though. Plugged in to the 60" it pretty awesome. I read somewhere that it wont work through an AVR, but it works perfectly through my Onkyo AVR so thats a plus.
I watched one of the free rental movies from the samsung hub in 720p, quite impressed.
 
I got my Note 3 two weeks ago and I also gotten used to the bigger screen and it makes a huge difference. The phone is also great for watching movies, the colors are nice and vibrant. I've setup Evernote the other day and it takes the phone to a whole new level organising notes and documents.

Well are you plugging it into the standard HDMI port or MHL HDMI port?

Go for real... costs about 700 but its awesome, got mine this weekend...

I have one of their S-View cases and the plastic has scratched my screen protector, I hope the original doesn't do the same. What was the quality like on the TPU cases and what price for the MHL cable?

Also for anyone looking for a pouch type case, apparently the Note 2 oem case fits.

Has this been proven to work...? I know both devices are about the same size...
