I didn't want to wait so long, so I decided to buy locally. It was the only thing I could get from the online shops that I usually buy form.

This is the first Android phone I've had (Desire, Note1, S2, S3) that I just don't feel the need to flash CM on. The phone runs just like CM with a good alternative launcher.

I did root though so that I could:
1) Remove bloat.
2) Flash a non-Vodacon rom.
3) Block ads.
4) Install Xposed Framework.

Will be flashing KitKat when a bloat-free version is released.

My Note 3 is my first Android phone that stayed unrooted and stock for so long. I usually rooted and flashed a new rom within the first month.

I feel the same, no need to root. I don't care much for the bloatware, I can live with it (for now) and the official KitKat is around the corner.

That's the Mhl adaptor to connect your note to the TV right? I found one but it's around R500

Also waiting for KitKat. No need to root or flash right now. I'm more than happy with my Note3. Almost 4 months old.

Just flashed the leaked KitKat, it does feel slightly faster than JB. but maybe its the placebo effect. Will report on how it goes after more usage

Yes thats right. I got mine for R285 and it's genuine Samsung.

You needed root to do that?
