Here's the guide: Extract the Zip to find the tar.md5 file (note that this firmware download only has one file, that file goes into AP, the COM will show blue not yellow when your phone is connected)

You wouldn't get get the Vodacom update automatically since you'll be on a different firmware for another region, you will have to download the Vodacom firmware when it arrives.

Erm, I should probably also mention that you cannot go back to 4.3 once you flashed KitKat, KitKat uses a new bootloader.
The Odin zip has older versions in it as well, just wanted to let you know to use the latest one.
