Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I've had more than 15% battery drain over night. From 23:30 to about 7:00 this morning. Anyone knows what this is?

I'm 100% sure I didn't see that in the Polish version.

Hi guys,

I just picked up a Note 3.

Its still on 4.3. I would like to get 4.4.2, must it be rooted to load 4.4.2 through Odin? I would prefer to load a bloat free stock ROM instead of the OTA update, or am I good to do OTA?

Does Nova Launcher work and look good on the Note and is there anything epic you guys can recommend I get to improve my Note 3 experience? :D

Hi
Can anyone advise a good modem (good signal, fewer dropped calls) for cell c for the n9005?
Thanks!

No need for root. Nova launcher is great, that's what I use.

Can anyone confirm if I'm right that this version of 4.4.2 is bloat free? - http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=26476

By bloatfree you mean unbranded, then yes. I'm using the same firmware for about a week now.

But it will still have all the samsung bloat??? Correct??
It will not be like vanilla and have only have android essentials, for that you need a custom root and custom ROM (correct me if I wrong pls)

I think it's quite obvious that any Samsung firmware will have Samsung "bloatware"...

EDIT: I should probably also mention, since many people tend not too that you cannot load AOSP on the Note 3 once you've upgraded to the Samsung 4.4 KitKat. So if you want a "pure" experience, you should do it while on 4.3

Yes I saw that too........Thats what has been keeping me from going to 4.4.
But I've been thinking lately that with 4.4 and apex there is more than enough customization on stock, and dont really need to do the custom ROM thing.
I cant remember, but you can still Root if on 4.4 right? (to say, install apps for root only)

Yes that's right, you can root although I haven't done it myself. I do however prefer the old and trusted CF Autoroot. I know there are other methods out there, but I'll stay with the one that I know works.

I myself use Nova Launcher because I love to customise my phone.
