I don't know what else you could do... Reboot? Google search didn't yield any other options besides cache.

I have been looking for an option to implement Tap to Wake. Been reading that X-Note thread. That is probably the most unhelpful bunch of people I have seen in XDA. Every response is: Search the thread or Ask in the Q & A thread.

The One X guys were the total opposite. Always willing to help.

I haven't found anything yet. I know X-Note has tap status bar to sleep. But I need something to wake the phone instead of pressing the power button all the time.

Cant agree more. They are a bunch of.......

Dont think that feature is available thou. Havent come across it as I gone through most the tweaks that comes default with the rom.

My opinion would be to search xda for a mod that would allow it.

Can someone please help me with my terrible battery life? I can't find the solution.

I'm running the unbranded version of Android Kit Kat from Telkom Mobile. The battery is like this everyday. I do not have a memory card since this caused a problem with my S4. I have wiped the device and did numerous battery pulls after I installed Kit Kat.

I don't think the battery itself is the problem because I saw better stats on 4.3. Rooting and a custom ROM is not an option although I have been tempted.

Any help would be appreciated!

Any good Custom Roms that you guys can recommend?

X-Note, Omega, Resurrection. Depends what you want out of it. Willing to lose S-Functionality? AOKP/AOSP... CM11, Carbon, AICP.

Some of us here are using X-NOTE. It's brilliant.

Without rooting and using BBS I think it will be very difficult to find the cause.

But that drain looks really hectic. I say test the phone with another battery. Just to eliminate that, then take it from there.

I use this. It's set to disable my data connection and to only enable it every 15 minutes. You won't believe what a huge difference it makes.

Ok, I did a full battery test. Charged it up 100%. Did a battery pull, ran this app BatteryCalibration. I got 1 Day and 6 hours out of the phone. With about 6 and a bit hours Screen time. This was running the X-Note full custom mods on. This battery life is CRAZY! I charged it yesterday before work, got the entire work schedule, left it on over night AND got ANOTHER work day in. Off the exact same charge. I can post pics if people want to see the screen times.

Finding another battery will be difficult but I think it is a good idea to rule out all the possible causes. I'm thinking of installing BetrerBatteryStats. Any experience with this app?

BBS is not free, but you can find an apk somewhere on the net. But it does need Root access.

Does anyone know of a notification app that works with Apex Launcher? I want notification badges like in the pic, and Apex Notifier doesn't work...

Thanks :)

Apex Notifier does work if you have Apex Launcher Pro...

Ah excellent. Worth the cash for the upgrade I reckon :)

Nova Launcher Prime also has notifications.

I was reading more. The amount of times I've read them saying Stop spamming the thread is crazy. Just posting about spamming is spamming in itself. Utter imbeciles.

Are you running your display at max brightness??

The screen usage is way too high - 91%!!!

Installed Gravity Screen Pro. It works as advertised. Brilliant. Too early for me to comment on battery drain. So far it's negligible but creator quotes about 6% usage.
