Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Guys I flashed Cwm last night and tried super su but it doesn't want to flash it talking about adb when I'm in Cwm not sure if the file is correct but downloaded the file from note3 root and Xda and no luck

I want to help you but you are a Liverpool supporter....

Just kidding. Make sure you followed all the steps in the note3root tutorial correctly and that you used the SM-N9005 download. Where you doing this at 3am?
 
Thanks for the response guys but that's were I download it from and followed all steps about three time. Will need to redo tonight again

Ps. We can talk Liverpool in the other thread lol the little there is to talk about and the only time I'll be awake at 3 is if they playing .

Put your phone in download mode then flash with this:
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyNote3/CWM/KK/n9005-cwm-recovery-6.0.4.7-kk(0125).tar


Once that is sorted, copy the X-Note v16 to a mem card in your phone. Press Up, Home and power button, install from zip or external storage and locate the v16 rom.

It went rather smooth last night. Only prob that I had at first was the wrong CWM.

Also, when I boot my phone, I get these messages in the top left corner:

Kernel is not SEANDROID
Enable Warranty Bit:

This is a lot of stuff here man. I am a minimalist and I am wondering whether i should remove stuff, even though I don't know what it is.

Another Email Client
Gravity Box[KK]
Ink Color Changer(I can only change colors within the app domain but have no idea what else it can do, or should do)
intelli3G(I already rooted this phone and I don't know what Xposed framework is, but yet it complains that i need this.)
MW Apps Manager
Pen Window
Timely looks cool but it cant be adapted to my "desktop"

Universal Init.d
XuiMod


How do I completely remove apps from my phone? Like My Magazine?

You need to install the xposed framework in order to get it to work.

Did you install the stock or custom kernel ? If that comes up it is because of custom kernel.

Most of these apps listed is to changed the look, feeling and behaviour of the rom. I would suggest take each name and google it to see what the app does.

The xpose framework can be accessed from settings, x-note extra menu, 2nd option, install framework, activate modules, reboot.

I going to do it again tonight and try factory rest also just to make sure
Also when the phone reboots it goes directly in to Cwm and doesn't reboot like it says

I installed the v16 that was posted in this thread.
 
Hi guys just noticed on my note 3 that before I would switch off my phone put on charge and it would stay off and carry on charging with battery charging pick displayed noe it refuses to stay off....automatically comes on once plugged in...only difference on my phone is I installed greenify could that cause the issue....phone std rom not custom yet
 
So how long before we see 4.4.3 in X-Note?

You are rooted? Greenify needs SU permission.

I would suggest unistall greenify and see if it resorts back to previous behavior.

Untill samsung decides to update the roms.

Nope, greenify will work on a non-rooted phone with limited functions.

Arrived in plastic packet and the serial number format does not match the Spigen checker website. However ... it looks just like the original versions I have seen on Youtube and the quality feels excellent. Fits perfectly and looks awesome. Even has "Authentic Spigen" on the inside cover (for what its worth). A good fake though and not disappointed.

So i uninstalled greenify made no difference still can't charge phone and have it shutdown once I plug in the charger it restarts
