Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I was very unhappy when I browsed my friend's Huawei P6 and saw that his battery was at 50% with 3H and 40 Min of screen on time. I'm disappointed that my Note 3's battery proved to be terrible almost every day with the exception of some days when I get 4 hours of screen on time. I still wouldn't consider getting another phone. Will rooting and removing certain Samsung apps improve my results?

Which stock apps are safe to uninstall using Titanium Backup? I decided to buy the Donate Version last night. Got it installed on my Note 3 and Note 10.1. Now I want to get rid of the bloatware.

Guaranteed.

I didn't realise how much bloatware there was! If you're going to root, I assume that installing a custom ROM would also solve this problem?

I'm totally afraid of opening that door because of warranty on the phone :(. I've had it since beginning of the year, so there's still just under a year-and-a-half to go

I'm in the same boat as you. I want to root and install a custom ROM but I'm afraid of losing my warranty

Since I updated to 4.4.2 I cant browse any files on the Note 3 from my PC.
it connects..but doesn't pick up the Drive.

Anyone have similar problems ??

Make sure your phone is unlocked. While plugged in, pull down the notification bar and try changing the method for connecting to the PC. e.g. "Connect as Media Device" (or something like that, can't remember the exact wording right now)

Ok so I've recently switched to using lean Kernel with X-Note 17. Here's my Battery Stats for the last charge cycle:

Works out to 4.2% drop in battery per hour. Think I've gotten to the point where I'm really happy with all my settings, apps and battery life. Will be hesitant to switch up to Android L now... :(

Where can I get the latest CWM and the stock KitKat OS? The one that is targeted for this country, not the Poland or UK or whatever version.

Anyone?

I will later root my phone and remove all of the apps that I consider bloat.

How come they don't work on all LTE networks? If they don't, is there a way to find out which networks they work on?

Tks
