Welcome to the awesomeness :)

Typing with 12h13mins on battery and 4h14mins screen time. 1% left :)

I disabled a lot of stuff though. Going to study each and every one of them later.

Trying to set up my Google Now/Cards.

Seems like heavy usage. I get those stats like if I'm playing games or using Waze...

If you are using GNow consider not having the always listening on all the time. Heavy battery drain with that.

You will need X-Note control. That's the main app in the rom. The restart app is useful to restart to recovery. The rest I could live without.
Edit: I lie. Can't live without Xposed. Have to tweak the finer details in the rom with that. :)

As long as the battery gets me through a day I am happy. In my opinion if it last more than a day, you not using your smartphone the way you suppose, please sell ans get a dum phone :D

That's what I was saying before. Today has been a normal days usage:

But I do have heavy tweaking and stuff. It's been ingrained in me since my One X days... That was like a 1800mAH battery. Used to get 3.5hours screen on time on a good day. ;)

Let's talk about modems and bootloader. When will we need to update it for use of a rom?

You and w1tw0lf should change avatars. it's confusing the hell out of me :D thought one of you were having an awesome conversion with themselves :D

That could have been hilarious :D

I always tend to load the bootloader and modem that comes with the rom version. Feels like they made to work with each other.

So you use Odin to flash X-Note all the time?

Yes and no.... i flash the main rom via cwm and then the modem and bootloader via odin.

Both these are separate downloads via x-note control app, updates - about, ota updates, x-note version folder, under their folders.

So the bl and modem in those folders will always be compatible with our phones? I see the guys talking about flashing stock rom first to get the modem and bl. I am a noob when it comes to this. Never did this with One X...

Yes they will. Just keep the versions the same.

It purely up to you. As easy as it is, if you make a mistake you can brick your device. If happy, stay where you are. The rom chances more than the modem/bootloader. Also once upgrade to the latest bootloader you cant go back to an older one.

I didn't update them since I changed from v15 to v17. But since I've been on 17 I have noticed a few more drops in WiFi connection. Other than that I am happy with it. Think I will update only when really required to...

see you changed your avi... :D

Yip...pity we can't do custom/personal avatars...

This might sound stupid, but when I switch the phone off completely and charge, it seems to take forever.
If I charge the phone while it is on, it charges to full within a max of 1.5 hours.

My phone (in its completely off state) has been charging since before 12 already...

The charge is complete now. From round about 11:30 to 17:24. This has been the longest charge ever.

SD copy problem

Sometimes when copying music to my MicroSD in my Note 3 over the usb connection, it bombs out, and won't copy anymore. This results in me having to reconnect the device, or files becoming locked, so that I can't write the file with the same name again. Why is this? What's going on here, is it a hardware or software problem?
