In order of my personal preference...

If you want vanilla android like roms this is as good as you're gonna get:

1 - Temasek CM12

2 - Resurrection Remix

3 - LiquidSmooth

4 - Euphoria OS

If you want TW Rom:

1 - Omega

2 - AryaMod

3 - Flex Rev

4 - Dark Lord Rom

Too much of sh*t with X-Note Rom...

Please let me know if you are having any issues. I ran 100% fine on CellC for a very long time, now on MTN the phone is giving issues. Internet use on mobile data gives a "Forbidden" error message and whatsapp images and emails are full of issues...
 
No it must be something I did... I'll be fixing it on Monday, so will report back.
 
I am newish to Android (2 years), having been with iOS since its inception with the very first aluminium iPhone that never made it to these shores..

I far prefer Android to iOS, but if they take much longer with releasing Lollipop, so I can update my two NOTE 3 phones, and my two Samsung tablets, the TAB S 8.4, the TAB S 10.5...then I am going to take my business back to Apple.

Damn, these guys can $rse around when it comes to releasing software.

And no, I'm not going the rooting route...

You don't have to root to load the official lollipop firmware? Just download and use odin to flash them on :whistle:
 
If you guys just want to update modem and bootloader there is a file on XDA to flash via Odin instead of the whole TW Rom. Will link it when I'm on PC.

Been using Temasek for the better part of 6months now and i love the Rom, no issues and works great. Just need to find the optimal rom / kernel combo to get max battery life. Was fine then i changed kernels and messed that up but i still get 1+ days out of it.

If you updated your Modem and Bootloader to Lollipop Arter97 Kernel is EPIC for battery life. I've been flatlining in deep sleep.
 
So turns out the issues were APN related and nothing to do with the firmware...

I can buy the original product from kalahari for R197.00 and the Chinese make from HD Cabling for R49.00 (plus delivery of course).

Just received my cable from kalahari. Genuine Samsung and it is longer than the original cable that came with the phone. Awesome.
