I wonder if the curved bit might be less convenient for left-handed people.
Won't work for left-handed people, I'm very very sad.

I think it looks stupid. It's a gimmick, and its resale value will fall through the floor when it doesn't catch on. Besides, the first thing I'd do with a Samsung phone is flash Cyanogenmod, and that strip will become useless.
This phone will only work without a case I think.
Yip. Dropped my Note 2 a few times. Corners chipped but still works fine. That thing isn't going to survive a drop on that side. Will Samsung offer that screen replacement warrantee?
But? you're gonna keep touching the side? Unless it's just a screen with no touch sensor on the side

I'm left handed but I 'phone' with my right hand![]()

Interesting ... But worth an upgrade from the Note 2 which is still excellent?
I tried this. 2 hours later I gave up
The tools one needs to use to flash these things are really dodge and broken. Follow step by step instructions and get stuck at point B, C or D because it just fails to detect the phone or something. Bloody waste of time. I mean what is this Heimdall crap anyway...
2 hours later? Lol the problem was the set of instructions or your ability to follow them. It took me 20 min to root and flash my last phone, and 5 minute to update the firmware each time thereafter. Millions of people use custom firmware no problem. I would do the same with my current phone, but there's no point with a OnePlus One.
Those damn left handers, always knew they were faking it!
Actually my Note 2's automated Cyanogenmod install failed "bricking" my device requiring a manual install. The instructions were out of order and incomplete. Lucky I code and had the Android debugger. Still took an hour.
Don't ever do an auto install. Manually flashing root, recovery and firmware only takes a few minutes, and is much more reliable.
