Samsung Galaxy S10

I just went by my local Samsung store. There was no one playing with the S10. That screen was amazing! Made me wish I could get one.
Samsung users don't appear to be like people who own iPhones. The Apple store is always full come launch of another new device.

The Android market these days is so overly saturated with brilliant devices that the hype for new ones just isn't what it used to be.

You can go get a S9+ and not really feel the need to get the S10+ unless you must have the newest thing.

Maybe because its not for sale yet? I'm surprised they even have samples to play with.
Did you see the S10e?
I need to go to Canal Walk this weekend. Hopefully they have one.
 
Had a go at the Samsung store. They're drawing crowds. S10e surprisingly small and I like it. Even the s10 and s10+ are surprising comfortable. Amazing how compact they feel without bezels.
 
I must say, yes I was surprised to find the phones at the store. Telkom, Voda, MTN and Cell C stores didn't have demo units so my guess is people who want to try these S10 devices would have to go to the Samsung store.

@Tsepz_011 that is true. The S10 screen was amazing though. There's nothing else that comes close.

Agree.
Just got the s9+ and super happy with it.
Played with a demo S10+ in-store. Nice phone but no major difference to S9+ to warrant the price.

I played with 1 at the MTN store in Ballito on Friday so they are definitely around
 
Does anyone know how long it takes generally for these contract prices to start to drop?
 
Just received this from Telkom. Can only be my S10+ upgrade / pre order.

As far as I am aware the S10+ is only being released on 08/03/2019.
On Takealot is shows "shipping from 08 March" on the pre-order option.
Let us know if you receive your S10+ early from Telkom.
 
Took the plunge and ordered from Telkom, offer is just so much better than VC and from June they effectively share a network.
 
Just got approved for the S10+ with Telkom for R899pm. Will be porting my VC number over to the contract when they deliver the phone.
 
I’m in Indonesia at the moment. S10 is just under R13000. S10+ is just under R14000.

Bluddy annoying.

Tracking hasn't been updated since 9pm last night when it was dispatched from JHB. Seem more likely to arrive tomorrow.
