Isn't the resolution a hardware limitation?

Resolution, as in PPI (Pixels per inch), is a hardware limitation. However, build.prop allows you to change DPI (Dots per inch), which allows the OS to display more (or less) content in the same space. Check out texdroider DPI on a rooted phone for a simple way to try this out. Even 220 worked for me on my S2, given that the default is 240, and the true PPI for this phone is 219.

Pop on over to XDA Developers to get the low down.

Actually surprised how good this phone still is.

I'm sorry Mike.

These things happen and we must put it behind us.

What about the iPhone 5S? Mind you, can a 4" display be useful for anything? :p

I could have told you that. :)

At least when I tell I Sheeps their iDevices suck - I have unbiased first hand experience :p

Got a Note 1 for the cab to replace the S2 but would prefer a Note 2. The big screen is awesome for Nav.

The S2 served me well though. It fell off the dash multiple times - no probs. Got overheated a few times when I parked in the sun all day (black car) and survived. These things are tough as nails.
My other one I use for bike rides with an S2 handle bar mount. Bounces all over the place. No probs.

Purchased a Nexus 5, will be giving the ever faithful S2 to my sister.

It's a sad time in my life. Will probably shed a few tears.

Nexus 5 better be a damn good phone.

Where did you guys buy new batteries for your S2? Would like to pass my S2 on but the battery life is extremely poor.

I got the extended battery from the orange store a while back. Not sure if they still have it.
