Samsung Galaxy S5

Is there an echo in here?

You suggested a normal one, why have one at all!!!

Wait, serious question: @Astro, are you Wolverine?

I have one - a clear one - it doesn't retract from the screen quality like the anti-glare ones and serves as a first point of defense against scratches. I just don't know why saffire glass is required... is required... is required...

I haven't had a screen protector from my S2 days. I don't have any scratches... scratches... scratches...

I am a bit Ruff on phones.
Have a normal one on, don't like it.

I am not Wolverine

Just checking ...

/thinks of a peace offering to reinstate the previously excellent relationship

/feels like fanie.dry when he pissed of kingrob

/not a good feeling

No need, I am Astroturf, I am made to walk all over

:D :D

I've never used a screen protector for more than a day. I get a new phone, think I need one, get one then take it off after a day or so.

I can't get past thinking that the the only person who will get the benefit of the lovely screens are the people I sell my phones to :erm:

I purchased a tempered glass protector for my N3 @ R130 from the local paki shop...it's the best investment I made, it genuinely feels and looks like I'm using the naked screen - I loathe the normal plastic ones..

You know what's even better than that? Nothing! :D

I'm telling you that there is zero discernable tactile or visual differences between the naked screen v versus the tempered glass protector on top of it...PLUS+++++ I rest in peace, comfort in the knowledge my screen is protected from harm....come on, for several extra grams, it's totally worthy. Try one - satisfaction guaranteed - you will thank me later :D

Yea tempered glass is pretty cool.
Zero bubbles and all that :) (will do that soonish).

So tell me in look and feel, what is the difference between this and the clear plastic ones?

Chalk and cheese! Take your plastic protector off your screen, clean the phone, and then play on the naked screen - that's exactly what the tempered glass looks and feels like.

EDIT: the glass protector is .26 of an inch thick, and rated with a hardness of 9H or H9 can't recall what the package read exactly, or what it means.
