what does it include?

did you update you gear 2 like a week ago? notice anything different? couldn't find a changelog either...

The gear2 update just made going through the apps and such faster.
Also made the watch turn on a bit better with the look at watch gesture.
And opening apps is a bit faster.

The Samsung update is some fingerprint scanner updates (make it more easily read fingers), some security updates and the camera opens and focuses faster.

have you had issues with the fingerprint reader? i hear and read about people complaining about it, but it works like a charm for me...

Not at all, I just want the bloody update (for the camera bits especially).

I do like that they are fixing issues people complain about.

I do not like Vodacom's slapgat attitude to updates and generic lame excuse about checking if it works on their network. All they are doing is bloatwaring the update.

I know that the Exynos S5 does not have LTE so I want to know how much slower it will be to download data than a S5 with LTE?
Why does telkom stock the Exynos version of the phone?

I've got S5 with LTE and it's disabled. Pretty pointless in SA I reckon.

I am using lte via VC and though low signal its like tonight faster than my adsl To be fair being throttled by telkom adsl.

Telkom supports LTE, but uses different band than the Galaxy S5 LTE phone supports.

And LTE can't handle voice, so must switch back.

Telkom is definitely LTE enabled with some impressive speeds, but opperates on different bands as Kingrob mentioned

I wish we had us or EU type fth, LTE, cable etc but we are in Africa.

Anyway the fastest connection I have access to is the LTE on my phone and router.

I was not happy with the build quality but I emailed them and they are sending me a replacement.

I am using it anyway for now.

Yea, I had my hands full, dropped from ear height onto tiles. Not a scratch on the cover or the phone

best thing is, even if the screen was fscked, there's always ADH

Yep

The cover adds a bit to the lip on the front and protects the corners.
Supposed to be getting another one soon as well, I'll see which I end up using.
