Yeah, me too and I like how they've taken the human element out of this test, automating the drop test etc Great result for the S5! Offering that extent of water proofing makes a desirable device all that more appealing!!!

Did you see the pool and frontloader test?
 
Check the link I posted.

1 hour 1 meter under the water then a 50 minute full wash and spin cycle in a frontloader.

I reckon this will do wonders for the resale value of the S5 too. Why wouldn't you pay top dollar for a mint condition, 1 year old, S5 with zero ADH claims? You know the model is pretty much bullet proof...

EDIT: The iPhone 5 has shocking resale value (by Apple's standards) and the poor bezel design and scuffing had a lot to do with that...

Yeah, waterproofing is HUGE!!!! The most common way people kill their phones is by way of a fatal drop! The 2nd most common way must be water damage, toilet, pool, sea, humidity etc etc etc The S5 is effectively 99% not likely to die from water damage!! HUGE!!

We been taught and brought up to believe electronics and water don't mix! Sticking your R10k smartphone into a bucket of water defies our instincts!

Even if I had a S5 I wouldn't do it...
 
if myBroadBand give me a new one (a blue one) if it breaks. I'll happily make a home grown video :D

I'm really pleased for one, because I work in mainly West Africa where it's so humid and dusty that I'm always cropping myself I'm going to kill thongs. Had a fitbit die on me for example

So the IP 67 rating on the S5 and Gear 2 are mightily handy for me :)

The H is the Exynos powered octa-core and the F is the Snapdragon based quad core... Not 100% sure about the capacities...

So which network sells which one?
