Samsung Galaxy S5

GB is stable on Nexus. Some features are stable on TW. E.g. the assignment of the ones I posted earlier. I have been using this setup for a while now without issues. The reason I mention stability issues is because the dev does not support TW officially. With GB and Nova, I also have double tap to sleep on my phone.

i use action launcher for the double tap function. it's cool. also use ACdisplay as my lockscreen replacement.

For me it lacked smoothness when I tested it (compared o Nova). I will give it a bash again. It has potential

the free version for some reason sucks (loaded it on SO's phone) the paid one is much better. have no issues at all with it. and i seem to always come back to it.

I always have huge amounts of apps installed on my phone, so having an alphabetical scroll list as my app list that just slides out with letter shortcuts is just the fsckin bomb diggity. :D O and searchable at the top.

Tried Everthing.me yesterday. What a crock o'schit.

I can't remember all the names of the apps I install - I like sorting them in categories. So alphabetical is not for me. Can Action do "folders"?

only on the home screen. there is a search on the home page that searches through apps or on the internet. But, then you might like everything.me actually. it sorts your stuff in categories without asking.

ah, that's the beauty of android isn't it. there's something for everyone!

Last night I played around a bit...
The idea was to get the Nexus navigation bar interface on the S5. That means the getting rid of the functionality of the capacitive keys and preventing them from turning on. I failed a bit but after I restored their functionality, I realised the order in which I tried this was not correct. The mod worked, but the capacitive keys lit up without being functional.
/snip
So I tried again... So far stable. Have far more functionality with this navigation bar.

I see that Incredible Connection is selling the wireless charger for the S5.Do you have too replace the backcover or are the regular back cover ok.

Ah so I think it will propably be R1000 to R1200 in total. Will you be able to use a S4 charging pad to Charge a S5 or a note 3? It would be a pain to get a new charging pad every time you get a new phone.

I'm quite sure you would be able to. I think the s5 version may just charge it a bit faster at a guess.

I really don't mind using a usb3 cable with the s5 charger though. About an hour from zero to 100

That's really fast :). I also don't see the need in wireless charging... Expensive gadget :p

Does anyone else have the S5 issue whereby when you press to call on a bluetooth device, you get the black screen that just says "Initializing", and through the bluetooth audio you hear the lady say "Please wait" (and waiting lasts forever..)

Happens whether or not the phone is locked and whether or not lock screen security is enabled.

Also tried disabling S-Voice and setting the default bluetooth action to Google Search, but nothing works to allow me to make a call via Bluetooth.

It's a problem with my Parrot car kit and also my Phillips headset.

Nope. Place calls with my Kenwood car radio all the time
