I will stop you getting South African updates in future, but the upside its that you will receive OTAs from the country the rom is from. In this case XEU (UK and Ireland).
I've always had to flash it manually if there was any update... then again... I wouldn't really give it time to push through to the handset by itself.
Not so strong on the patience side I see? How is the download coming?
No patience at all.
150mb/1.6GB
running at home, so even if it finishes in the next 10 minutes, it will have to wait until I am home.
Flashed 5.1.1 FAILED the first time at about 75%. Tried again. Perfect! Trying to find changes from 5.0.1. First thing: There is an A-Z option to arrange the apps drawer alphabetically!
Till now I was trying to keep my S6 as close to stock as possible. Had a bunch of custom launchers on my S5, but went back to stock every time. Mind you. I had Apex for a few months and it was not too bad.Using a custom launcher you can arrange it any which way you please![]()

I've been using Apex for years - much prefer the customisability when compared to the stock Samsung launcher.
Fukkit, my download failed... stupid telkom line that keeps failing...
anybody got a mega link???????????![]()
What download is this?
This one : http://www.sammobile.com/2015/06/22...m-g925f-getting-android-5-1-1-update-as-well/ Android 5.1.1 for the s6 edge. Downloading from sammobile is like watching paint dry. Took me 3 hours for 1.6 Gig download.
Sorry I saw now it's for normal S6 too
No you won't, as it's official firmwareBut does this mean I'll loose my Vodacom warranty etc?
