Got locked out of my phone this morning when I got to work.

Wouldn't recognize my fingerprints, backup password or google account.

Logging in to my samsung account saved the day for me. https://findmymobile.samsung.com/login.do

Why is Samsung Push Service chowing my battery all of a sudden?
Started 2 nights ago.
I normally get max 5% battery drain overnight when my phone is on standby while I am asleep.
Last 2 nights it's been 20% overnight drain, with Samsung Push Service accounting for 16% of that.

Anyone else experience this lately?

Picked up mine yesterday. Seems like a nice phone, if a little underwhelming.

Why does Samsung have its own push service? Android has got the Google push service to take care of notifications?

It is for sync'ing, pushing and pulling for it's own set of services... like it's app store, and health apps, etc.

I disabled the Samsung push service and all is fine now.
Battery life back to normal.
No issues with other apps or services.
I may have an issue with the "Find my Mobile" service though.....if ever I need it

I am looking for a clear soft gel case.
Something that does not add too much bulk but provides decent protection in the event of a drop.

I always wondered if Disabling Samsung Push Service was worth doing, no real point of it being there. They really need to chill with some of their services.

But adds too much bulk.

Some nice ones i prefer on takealot but without seeing and feeling the actual thing its hard to decide

Yeah I hear you, but I wanted something tough. Watched a couple of reviews and the case seems legit. Should be here today, I'll let you know how it feels.

I use a spigen hybrid crystal clear case. It works well and is see through, so I can see my phone. The only issue I have with it, is that the sides seem to be yellowing. Which I hear is a common problem.

The nice thing is, it doesn't add too much to the phone.

Combined with a tempered glass screen protector it just works.
Hardly any added bulk, and the device is protected.

Same case, same issue. It starts to take on a goldish tint after a while.
Disappointed in Spigen quality thats for sure....
