Galaxy S6 Achieves Monstrously High Benchmark Scores, Leaves HTC One M9 In The Dust

So the Edge will be $100 more than the S6. That's probably an extra R50pm on most contracts here. Big question is, besides being visually superior to the standard S6 and offering colour edge caller id, what other uses do those edges give us?
S6 memory benchmarks smashes the competition in the face.
Who said that DDR4 wouldn't make a difference?

People decrying the battery capacity- you guys do realise that the chipset is quite a bit more efficient than what's found in other devices, being the only one at 14nm? Battery capacity isn't the be all and end all of battery life. Also, the Note 4 is meant to have greater battery life than the Galaxy S-line, that's part of the appeal of a phablet.
If anything, it's good to see Samsung differentiating their devices. For too long was the Note-line a blown up Galaxy S* with a stylus.
Keen to see what the S6 Edge can do.
Faan....impressive speeds with the DDR4. Sorry to be a party pooper, but I really fail to see what REAL advantage this has to the average phone user ? It's not like you are doing intensive gaming on your phone....or professional photo editing on your phone (not me anyway)
To see speeds like this obliterating the competition, would be amazing in a laptop computer where real work with real speeds are essential.....but in a cell phone ?
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but where will this speed over the competition make any real difference in the real world ?
And that's why you'll consider a mid range phone, and I won't.
I want the best, the fastest. You want something to read your Whatsapp's on.

Dont under estimate the power of swag.
Ultimately a phone with superior graphics and usability will consume more power and hence, you back where you started hoping for a phone with better battery power.
