Still can't see any reason to ditch my Samsung S4.. Don't feel these new phones offer anything new, looks like I'm making the move to prepaid this year. Love the look of the Edge, but not at the price Samsung is asking.

Agreed, but from what I have experienced this far I am more likely to stay with the Note series.

Different phones for different needs. Your Note love is understandable, but it and the galaxy S range are for different markets.

Last week I bought myself the Note Edge and for the wife the Note 4. We are happy and probably never will have the need for any S4, S5, S6 or any future S-range Samsung phone.

This may be due to the fact that you are of the Note target market and only realise it now. I personally avoided the Note range up until the Note 4 arrived, and was pleasantly surprised when I got it, it was the perfect phone for me, and I realised how much I had been missing out, I actually wish I had jumped on the Note wagon in the Note 2 days, but ah well. I thoroughly enjoyed my S2, S3 and S4, but I remember always thinking that they lacked a little something.

The S6 and S6 Edge seem to be superb phones, not aimed at Note users though, I'd get a S6 Edge if I really needed a 2nd phone, but wouldn't leave my Note 4 for it, and I am sure those who prefer the S6 and S6 Edge compact designs wouldn't leave them for a Note 4 or 5.

They have the worst data amounts with their contracts

After being with Cell C for the last 22 1/2 months, I don't care what little I get from Vodacom. It will still be an improvement...

Yes my contract expires this month
Early upgrade is 3 months bfore

But when you log into the Vodacom portal, there is an upgrade date, and underneath it a "check if you qualify for an early upgrade", and if I click on that, it tells me to go jump in the ocean :D How is the check related to the upgrade date specified?

I'm also with Cell C and on my last month and I have to agree about their cr@p network..... Although I will most likely port to Telkom Mobile as they generally offer more data

TM is definitely the best option for price and quantity no doubt
The only gripe I have is going to start a new contract again, bank statements, ID book, applications.......just dont have patience
